A cook overheard the conversation and offered to happily make us what my partner and I wanted and even took it to us himself, well spoken and polite lad. Beautiful, Food is great, And staff are fantastic. Right near the sea, with plenty to do. Well worth a visit. Or stay. On a plus side, it's also dog friendly. Only dinned at the restaurant for Sunday lunch so ignore the stars for the rooms. But the lunch was lovely and great prices. £10.45 for one course, £13.45 for two, and £17.50 for three. Plenty of meat for the price too. The beef was delicious and succulent. And the lamb was very tasty and full of flavour. None of the meat was dry. The gravy was everything, 10/10. We hosted our Christmas Gala at the hotel on 22 November 2025, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the very early planning stages, the events and planning team were exceptional. Communication was clear, prompt and reassuring throughout, with every detail carefully considered. The team were incredibly attentive, flexible and genuinely invested in making sure the evening ran perfectly, which made the whole process completely stress-free for us. On the night itself, everything was seamless. The venue looked absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our gala. The room was set up impeccably, staff were professional, friendly and attentive throughout the evening, and everything ran smoothly from arrival through to the end of the night. The food was outstanding and received fantastic feedback from our guests. Presentation, quality and service were all excellent, and it was clear a great deal of care had gone into every element of the dining experience. Many of our guests, including ourselves, stayed overnight, and the accommodation was just as impressive. The rooms were comfortable, well-presented and provided a lovely, relaxing end to the evening. Breakfast and morning service were equally enjoyable, rounding off the experience perfectly. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a beautiful venue, supported by a highly professional and attentive team, and we would not hesitate to recommend it for functions, events, and overnight stays.
